The Iraq War and the Media's Coverage of It

I've always thought the Iraq War was a major mistake, but after interviewing a Marine who spent time in Ramadi and al Anbar Province, in addition to talking with other soldiers who have served, I have to say I am more appalled by the media's coverage of the war. Most people know that major news networks tend to always focus on the bad, but the effect that has on a population's mentality is a monumental one.

Nevertheless, here is a link to the article I wrote after interviewing Lance Corporal Steven Hayes who was part of the March 2007 troop surge. It'd be nice to get a discussion going in regards to the media's coverage of the Iraq War and the war in general.

On a side note, it would be greatly appreciated if you could vote for the article if you enjoy it or find it interesting.

Don't Vote. It Doesn't Matter, Right?

This is a little shameless self-promotion, but I need some money. Anyway, it's a social commentary piece on voting. It also has an abridged explanation of the Electoral College for those who might not know the deal with that.
