Personally, the article gives far too much credit to Bush because I highly doubt he is the mastermind of some great conspiracy. However, research into any of the following groups/topics will bring about unsettling results: Council on Foreign Relations, Carlyle Group, KBR, Bilderberg Group, origins of the Federal Reserve, North American Union, and so on. Also, the REAL ID, which I posted about earlier ties into this as well.
However, the linked article does mention the consolidation of Mass Media.
Here is a quote from David Rockefeller of the infamous Rockefeller Family:
"For more than a century ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents ... to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure - one world, if you will. If that's the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it."

This shows two points of mass media. One aspect being a good one, and that is it brings to light alot of things people may not like or may not know of. They bad aspect of is that it can insight, uneeded predjudice, fear and just plain idiocy on the part of the american people. Like with tv, dont believe everything your eyes see, research is needed on everyone's part before they make such calls as condeming a family to a life time of wrongful persecution.
Based on research I've done, I can safely say the Rockefeller family is evil ha. During WW2, Standard Oil was supplying both Americans and Nazis. US Steel (JP Morgan's company) was doing the same. Hell, all those major companies epitomized greedy scum during the late 19th/early 20th century labor movement.
However, I agree that people still should take the time to look into something regardless if they agree with it or not.
For instance, my friend made me watch the movie Zeigeist, which is a propaganda film through-and-through, but I've been spending some of my free time looking into some of the claims of the movie. I mean the last 3rd is fairly solid, but they leave certain things out, which I thought was unnecessary since the bad outweighs the good.
Zeitgeist Website for those who are interested. This kind of ties into the class as well since it shows how films can be edited to make for powerful propaganda. Again, it mixes historical accuracies in to throw the viewer off with the flawed logic of "Well if one segment is true then the rest must be true too."
